What this aim trainer measures

The run combines target acquisition time and click accuracy. The timer restarts at every new target, while empty-space clicks increase the shot count without increasing hits.

Set up a fair run

Keep browser zoom at 100%, use a stable desk surface, and close software that changes pointer acceleration. Repeat runs with the same mouse DPI and display refresh rate.

Touch input works, but touch and mouse results should be compared separately.

Latency affects the result

Display refresh rate, mouse polling rate, browser scheduling, and frame load all add small delays. The score is most useful for tracking your own trend on one setup.

The score starts with accuracy and applies a time penalty based on your average target acquisition time. A fast run with misses can score below a slightly slower perfect run.

Should I change sensitivity for this test?

Use the operating-system and mouse sensitivity you normally play with. Browser aim cannot perfectly reproduce every game's field of view, so consistency matters more than matching a specific title.

Why do the targets move so far apart?

Each target is generated away from the previous location. That reduces predictable micro-clicks and creates a broader mix of flick directions.
