Privacy policy
ReactionTests collects only the data needed to run tests, save results, claim accounts, and maintain leaderboards. This page describes the current product implementation; legal counsel should review it for each operating region before commercial launch.
Data we process
Guest runs create a random anonymous identifier, raw stage metrics, device preflight data, and risk flags. After Google sign-in, we store the Google Subject, player ID, display name, avatar, verified email, 13+ confirmation time, and optional age range. Age range is used only for internal fairness analysis and is never shown publicly. Leaderboards show only the display name a player chooses to publish.
Integrity and manual review
Ranked stages store key input samples in an ordered SHA-256 event chain. Anomalous results wait for review and do not rank automatically. Operators can view test metrics, risk reasons, and event summaries, but never your Google login token.
Human norm calibration
Complete, verified Ranked results may contribute to aggregate norms for the same test version and input mode. Only the first valid completion for each account or guest identity counts; Practice never counts. Public calibration status shows aggregate sample counts and norm state only.
Cookies, local storage, and advertising
Essential local storage supports checkpoints, guest sessions, and consent choices. Anonymous analytics, Google AdSense, and clearly labeled sponsor placements run only after “Accept all.” Delivery can be limited by region, session frequency, and time interval. Commercial content never appears during countdown, calibration, or active test input.
Storage, publication, and deletion
Neon stores authoritative results; Upstash is a rebuildable leaderboard cache. You can hide your leaderboard profile or delete your account. Account deletion removes OAuth identities and sessions, disables the public profile immediately, and anonymizes historical test results by clearing account and guest identifiers.
Your choices
You can reject non-essential processing, sign out, hide your leaderboard avatar, hide all leaderboard data, export a data copy, or delete your account. Cookie, analytics, and advertising preferences can be changed below at any time.
Age requirement
This product is not intended for children under 13. Players below the independent-consent age in their region should use it only with guardian consent and supervision. Regional age and guardian flows must be reviewed before launch.
